Leicester City star striker Jamie Vardy has quashed talks of switching the club, saying he wants to represent the recently-crowned Premier League winners at next year's Champions League.

"I've just won the league and I'll be playing in the Champions League next year. I'm happy here," Vardy was quoted as saying by goal.com.

Earlier, the 29-year-old took his tally of league goals to 24 as Leicester grabbed their first title in the club's 132-year history with a remarkable 3-1 win over Everton.

Vardy, along with his team-mates Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante, have all been linked to make big-money moves following their feat. But the forward said that he would remain in the club until at least the next year.

"Nothing's really been spoken about between the lads (regarding close-season moves). We've just been concentrating on each and every game, as they come," he added.

Despite the title triumph, Vardy called on his side to keep their winning mentality intact and focus on ending their season with a victory.

Leicester, who overcame their underdogs tag by winning the title in what could be termed as one of the most remarkable seasons of the football history, will play their last league match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on May 19.
