Use of innocent minds to achieve target is brutal, said K. Vijay Kumar, advisor to Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik, on Friday in connection with the Jammu bus stand grenade blast yesterday killing two persons.
Using a young man to throw the grenade was only "tip of the spear", he said adding, "elements motivated the ordinary youngster and turned him into a mercenary".
It is not the boy alone, there are "agents" behind such incidents, underlined the Advisor to the Governor while condemning the incident.
Kumar said that those behind the "despicable" act can never succeed in achieving their target as people are united.
The grenade blast took place at 11.58 am yesterday leaving two dead and 30 injured.
After the blast, police got into action and arrested a man who is accused of throwing the grenade.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Inspector General Police (IGP) Jammu Manish K Sinha had said that the police had detained Yasir Javed Bhatt who had "confessed" his crime during the preliminary investigation.
Sinha said, "He has revealed that he was tasked to throw a grenade by District Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen in Kulgam by Farooq Ahmed Bhatt alias Omar. He had started from Kulgam yesterday and reached Jammu in the morning. After committing the heinous act, he was trying to escape but was apprehended."
The Governor had announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 20,000 each to those injured in the attack.
This is the third grenade attack by terrorists at the bus stand area of Jammu city in the last nine months.
