Japanese airline ANA has announced that it will launch its 'Omotenashi Hospitality' service in December.

'Omotenashi Hospitality' will include providing luxury in-flight meals for children in the economy class.

Vegetarian meals served on the airline will be prepared by a top chef of the Taj Group. In all, 14 kinds of special meals, will be served, some of which will be made keeping religious sentiments in mind.

The luxury child meal has been developed by Chef Teruyo Kiuchi, a mother of three children. Kuichi has 16 years experience as a chef, and decided to prepare attractive meals for children after having an unsatisfactory experience with her child on their first trip abroad. She recalls that the child meal served by the airline on that trip was poor.

This luxury child meal will consist of snowman rice, vegetable curry, heart marked cheese, hamburger, confectionery and toys.

The airline believes that children will never get bored if they eat and play.

The Japanese vegetarian meal on the flight from India to Japan will be produced by two famous Indian and Taj Group chefs - Mr. Satish Arora and Mr. Arun Batra, who have rich experience of cooking for many world celebrities.

ANA has said that it will prepare 14 special meals, including strict vegetarian, vegetarian Hindi, Hindi, Muslim, Jewish and Jain-various religious meals. The meals will be anti-allergy, low in fats and salt, all in all a healthy spread.

ANA Division Director Mr Kouji Oka declared: "These special meals will be more acceptable to passengers, especially foreigners."

He added that "ANA is progressing to "Worldwide Wing" through "Omotenashi Hospitality".
