Jay Z luxury label has raised more than 1 million dollars for charity from its six week limited run at Barneys department store in New York.
The 44-year-old rapper raised the money for his Shawn Carter Foundation charity, which helps underprivileged children go to college in the US, Contactmusic reported.
All the profits from the sale of the goods went to the foundation, and Barneys also pledged 10 percent of its entire store's profits from the first day that the items went on sale.
Goods offered in the collection ranged from a 70 dollars cotton T-shirt to a 33,900 dollars watch by Hublot with alligator skin straps.
