Jay Z sued the former owners and executives of Tidal for 15 million dollars claiming they exaggerated their subscribers and lured him to purchase stake.
Reportedly, the 46-year-old rapper was told the streaming service had 540,000 subscribers when he bought his stake for 56 million dollar, but he now believes it was much lower, reports TMZ.com.
Jay Z's lawyers said subscriber numbers were a factor in setting the price.
Tidal just celebrated hitting three million subscribers, but Jay Z is concerned about dough he forked out last year.
