The Janata Dal (United) (JD (U)) on Tuesday welcomed the resumption of foreign secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan.
"Talks must go on. If the secretary level talks have resumed then it should be welcomed," JD (U) chief Sharad Yadav told mediapersons here.
Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar will be holding talks with his counterpart Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry later today as part of his SAARC Yatra.
Jaishankar is also expected to meet Pakistan Prime Minister's Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and possibly Prime MInister Nawaz Sharif.
He has already completed visits to Bhutan and Bangladesh on Sunday and Monday respectively as part of his SAARC Yatra.
