Taking a dig at girls for being obsessed with selfies, Jennifer Saunders said that girls are gettingill because they spend their whole time taking selfies.
The 'Absolutely Fabulous' creator also ridiculed Kim Kardashian's looks, dubbing it "automaton".
In an interview with Event magazine, 58-year-old star said, "That Kim Kardashian look, it's so automaton. Girls spend longer and longer in the bloody bathroom, looking in the mirror, taking selfies," reports The Telegraph.
"Girls are now getting ill because all they spend their lives doing is finding the perfect selfie," she added.
This is not the first time when the British comedian turned heads for her derogatory statement.
Earlier, she invited wrath for telling an interviewer that women should be flattered by wolf-whistling.
