Jessica Alba has revealed that she had to deal with "doors closed in her face" while trying to branch out from acting.
The 32-year-old actress, who has a children's care brand named the 'Honest Company', told Editorialist that in the beginning she wasn't taken seriously for her off-screen enterprise, News.com.au reported.
She said that it took her three years of spending her own money, pounding the pavement, getting doors closed in her face and people thinking she was nuts, before making it.
Alba added that with time she found the right partners, with whom she streamlined the concept, the design aspect and the business model, after which it was really easy for people to understand.
