Hours after clashes broke out between the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists at Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said here on Saturday that the ongoing controversy had been started by the ruling party at the Centre and will definitely escalate further.

"The issue has been started by the BJP, let's see where this goes. It will definitely go further, as they have already blown the bugle," said Soren.

Condemning the incident, Soren added that nobody has the right to take the law into their hands.

Soren was jeered at a couple of days ago by supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi while he was speaking at the inauguration of the National Digital Literacy Mission in Ranchi.

The incident led to a protest by the workers of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) earlier today, as they also showed black flags to Union Labour Minister Narendra Singh Tomar upon his arrival at the Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport.
