Late Jimi Hendrix's 250 pounds worth guitar is all set to sell at an auction in UK and is expected to fetch more than half a million pounds.
The 'Purple Haze' hit-maker's brother Leon Hendrix has decided to cash in one of the most valuable items of the late guitarist ever put up for sale in London by Ted Owen and Co., the Mirror reported.
The 50-year-old Fender Stratocaster would be sold with the original case that Hendrix toured with at the time of his hits 'Hey Joe', 'Purple Haze', and 'The Wind Cries Mary'has and is expected to pocket 400,000 pounds and 600,000 pounds.
When the American rock guitarist came back home to Seattle he asked Leon, if he was going to get a band together, then he should take his guitar, but Leon almost didn't take it.
