Author JK Rowling always makes sure that her Twitter handle is always freshly filled with responses to President Trump's policies and activities.

The 'Harry Potter' author took to Twitter and shared a quote from Lewis Carroll's classic 'Alice in Wonderland' after Trump suggested the White House might start providing written responses to the media instead.

She wrote, "I don't think-''Then you shouldn't talk,' said the Hatter.Lewis Carroll.Alice in Wonderland."

In the tweet, the 51-year-old author suggested Trump might do best to stay silent altogether.

Rowling has been quite vocal about showing her disappointment over Trump's decisions.

Rowling has previously defended her right to criticise the Trump regime, despite not being an American citizen, arguing, "When a man this ignorant & easy to manipulate gets within sniffing distance of the nuclear codes, it's everyone's business.

Few months back, she labelled Trump's press conference as 'the scariest thing' she had ever seen.

For the unversed, United States President Donald Trump continued his tirade against the 'fake media' and warned that he might cancel all future press briefings and replaces them with written handouts for the sake of accuracy.
