The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) on Saturday protested against unprovoked firing by Pakistan troops at the border, militant attacks and infiltration outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.

The slogan shouting members of JKNPP condemned militant attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.

"We are protesting unprovoked firing by Pakistan troops at the border, sending of infiltrators and attacks by militants at various places. We strongly condemn it," said JKNPP leader Harsh Dev Singh.

However, the police prevented protesters from going to the Pakistan High Commission by detaining them and taking them away.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh had earlier told the Parliament that three militants who killed seven people and attacked a police station in Punjab came from Pakistan.

Security forces also captured a Pakistani militant alive in Kashmir after he attacked a BSF convoy and killed two soldiers.
