Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she tends to be "incredibly rude" if approached in public, in order to avoid pushy fans asking for selfies.
According to Contactmusic, the 27-year-old actress admitted that she is often extremely blunt when it comes to impromptu photo opportunities with fans.
In an interview with a leading U.S. publication, Lawrence said that she would even go far as to describe herself as an "a*****e" when confronted by members of the public.
She noted, "I just, generally, once I enter a public place, I become incredibly rude, I turn into a huge a*****e. That's kind of like my only way of defending myself. And that's my only way of defending myself. See somebody walking to my table [wagging finger]. 'Can I have a selfie?' 'No'."
The Oscar-winning star also added that she often replies with things like "it's my day off" if she gets approached while walking down the street.
The 'X-Men' star noted that things become even more difficult when she meets up with her close friend, comedian Amy Schumer.
