John Legend just witnessed a rough landing in New York City.

As reported by TMZ, the 'All of Me' singer arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Thursday, when a delta greeter made a mistake and left his bag on the luggage cart.

Legend took to Twitter and explained what really happened, "We use a trusted car service and they did not rob me. Our Delta greeter made a mistake and left a bag on the cart."

He further wrote, "The bag was taken because it was left unattended. The airport police caught the person who took it (on video) and retrieved my bag."

Police was able to use surveillance video to nab the culprit, and John got his bag back.

As told to TMZ, the bag contained a pair of Cartier Panther cuff links with clear and green stones, valued at 30,000 dollars. The clothes inside were valued at 500 dollars and there was a 500 dollar pair of eyeglasses.
