Johnny Depp could possibly be sent behind the bars for up to 10 years or asked to pay a maximum fine of 340,000 Australian dollars for illegally bringing his two dogs into Australia.
Australian government officials revealed that they will soon get the dog thing out of the way as the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star's two Yorkshire terriers were illegally brought into the country and it is serious crime for them, Stuff.co.nz reported.
On the other hand, the 51-year-old actor's pilot could also face up to two years in jail for his role in the undeclared importing of the star's dogs Pistol and Boo.
An ongoing investigation by the department learned that Depp, his fellow passengers and the flight crew failed to declare the presence of the dogs as well as customs officers didn't find the terriers when he boarded the aircraft.
