According to the Hollywood Reporter, the David Koepp directed action comedy which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany and Olivia Munn, will portray the 50-year-old actor as an art dealer who's on the run from the Russian mob.
The movie will be distributed by Lionsgate and OddLot Entertainment which also produced the film along with Depp's company An Infinitum and Mad Chance.
Depp's latest release, 'Transcendence' didn't turn up much crowd, marking the third big-budget disappointment in a row for the actor.
