Julianne Moore will be honored by 'Museum of the Moving Image'

Julianne Moore will be honored by the New York's Museum of the Moving Image at their annual salute in January, it has been reported.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Herbert S. Schlosser, co-chairmen of the Museum's Board of Trustees, said that 2014 was 53-year-old actress' year as she has given some splendid performances in the movies like 'Still Alice, Maps to the Stars, and her upcoming role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.'

The 'Non-Stop' actress is a fearless and versatile performer who has created so many powerful performances in film and television, he further added.

Moore, stars as a woman battling Alzheimer's in 'Still Alice,' which Sony Pictures Classics would give an awards-qualifying run later in 2014, and plays a fading actress in David Cronenberg's 'Maps to the Stars.
