Jung motivates DTU students to serve nation

Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Wednesday motivated the students to serve the country in order to take the nation to further heights.

"This country needs services of bright students like them to take the country to further heights," he said at the annual convocation of Delhi Technological University (DTU) here.

Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung who is also the Chancellor of university congratulated all the degree recipients of the university and wished them the very best in their life.

Speaking on the occasion Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Managing Director, Mangu Singh, who was the chief guest exhorted the students to work on their vision and innovation. He identified their vision as the first step towards achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Make In India" campaign.

 

Singh said, "The first step for achieving "Make In India" campaign launched by honourable Prime Minister of India starts with your brilliant vision, innovation and intellectual property you generate and its sustenance bank upon your actions and deeds in this globally competitive world".

He also motivated the students to achieve the same by building competency and practicing punctuality along with discipline and integrity.

During the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Jung awarded Chancellor's Medals to overall topper of under graduate and post graduate student of each batch.

A total of 72 medals were awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students of the '12-'13 and '13-'14 batches of the university.
