Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath on Monday appealed to all political parties to give the highest priority to anti-corruption bills, without causing disruptions during the last session of the 15th Lok Sabha.
"We are on the eve of the last session of the 15th Lok Sabha. This morning we had an all party meeting, and I requested political parties to rise above politics, and give the highest priorities to the anti-corruption bills," he told media here today.
"These anti-corruption bills are very important because they form the package along with the Lokpal Bill.," he added.
He further said that though the 15th Lok Sabha has passed lesser number of Bills, but it also passed some historical bills.
Appealing to political parties not to indulge in causing disruptions, Nath said that the 15th Lok Sabha has had disruptions 'like never before'.
