Kanye West recently described racism as "dated" adding that it is like a silly concept that people try to touch on, to separate, to alienate, to pinpoint anything "silly".

The 'Stronger' hitmaker asserted in an interview that racism was like a bouncing ball in a room with two cats, or something, when one did not feel like playing with a cat, E! Online reported.

The 37-year-old rapper continued that one should let them literally fight over the bouncing ball as the bouncing ball had nothing, no purpose, anything other than that.

He said that racism was something that was used to hold people back in the past but now there had been so many leaps and breaking of the rules that it was like it was played out like a style from the 1800s or something.

Whilst talking about the N-word, West added that the N-word was difficult for black people right now and it did hurt when they heard that.
