The Observer Research Foundation (ORF), which has organized the book launch of Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri here tomorrow, has urged the Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra Government to provide full proof security to the former foreign minister of Pakistan.

"I have written a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis urging him to provide adequate and full proof security to Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri, whom we have invited to Mumbai for the launch of his book 'Neither a Hawk Nor a Dove' on 12th of this month at 5:30 pm," ORF chairman Sudheendra Kulkarni told ANI here.

"Only last week, the Shiv Sena terrorised the organisers of a concert by Pakistan's famous ghazal singer Ghulam Ali, who was to perform in Mumbai. And because of the pressure from the Shiv Sena, the organizers called off the concert," he added.

Kulkarni further said nobody should be allowed to take the law in their hands.

"It is the responsibility of the government of Maharashtra to provide security," he said.
