Kate Middleton planning on hypno-birth to reduce labour pain

The method focuses on the principle that anxiety and fear make labour last longer, making it more painful

Kate Middleton is reportedly considering the option of hypno-birthing for delivering her first child.

The method focuses on the principle that anxiety and fear make labour last longer, making it more painful.

A source told UK's Grazia Magazine that the Duchess of Cambridge has researched various methods on delivering a child and wants it to be natural.

The source said that Hypno-birthing has appealed to the 31-year-old royal and she had been reading and listening materials on the subject to get into the right frame of mind, the New York Daily News reported.

According to reports, when the delivery date arrives this summer, Kate will be submerged in water in a birthing pool at St. Mary Hospital in Paddington, London, where her husband, Prince William, was also born.

The source said that some of her pals have used hypno-birth techniques and swear by it.

Previously, another source told UK's Now Magazine that Kate is excited about the idea of delivering her child through hypno-birth.
