Kate Upton will be hosting the Grand Slam Adoption event to promote dog adoption with the local Brevard County Sheriff Office's Animal Services department.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model said that the shelter was in her hometown, where her sister has volunteered and whenever she would be in the town she would volunteer too, E! Online reported.
The 22-year-old model added that she has lived on a five acres place and they had many dogs and horses in the family, and so she believed that people should know that there were dogs that need homes.
