Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, is reportedly furious that AEG Live wants her to pay its 1.2 million dollars legal costs stemming from her failed wrongful death lawsuit against the company.
A jury recently ruled that the concert promoters were not to blame for the late singer's death in 2009 and not wrong for hiring disgraced doctor, Conrad Murray, to care for the King of Pop's before his 'This Is It' comeback concert series in London.
The company is now asking a judge to make the Jackson family matriarch cover all of its court fees, TMZ.com reported.
According to a source, Katherine is irate and thinks many of AEG's so-called "expenses" are bogus.
The company has included an itemized list of its costs from the five-month trial in new court documents, including 540,000 dollars for models and blow-up court exhibits, 118,000 dollars for unnecessary depositions, 53,000 dollars for process servers and 20,000 dollars for 1,000 pages of jury instructions and other documents.
The concert promoter also wants Katherine to pay its 9 dollars parking fees.
