U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Minnesota congressman Keith Ellison was the one who had predicted he would win the Presidency.
"One thing I will say about Rep. Keith Ellison, in his fight to lead the DNC, is that he was the one who predicted early that I would win!" Trump said in a tweet on Tuesday.
This comes after a video clip of Ellison, in an interview with a news channel in July 2015, went viral in which he had predicted Trump's win.
Ellison is contesting the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairmanship elections, which are scheduled to be held in Atlanta on Saturday.
The DNC is the formal governing body for the United States Democratic Party and it coordinates strategy to support the Democratic Party candidates throughout the country for local, state and national office.
