Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kiran Bedi on Monday said the meeting between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Police Commissioner B. S. Bassi was not aimed at taking matters forward but to score a point.
"My reading is that this meeting was not to take matters forward, it was to score a point or make a point. Because if the Chief Minister is asking for information then the information is with the Lieutenant Governor," Bedi told ANI.
"If it is about seeking information then why from the police commissioner, why not ask the Lieutenant Governor, because the police reports to him," she added.
Bassi had met Kejriwal earlier in the day at the Delhi Secretariat over the law and order situation in the capital.
