Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday targeted the Central Government over the deteriorating law and order situation in the capital, asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to either fix the situation or hand over the reins to the AAP Government.

"I urge the Prime Minister to take out time very week for the law and order situation of Delhi, or else give us the reins and we will tackle the situation," Kejriwal said at the inauguration of the 'Aam Aadmi Clinic' at Peeragarhi.

The Chief Minister's remarks come after a 19-year-old girl was brutally stabbed to death allegedly by two brothers living in her neighbourhood for protesting against their verbal abuse on July 16, leading to a political blame game.

While Kejriwal lashed out at the Centre and the Delhi Police, the Bharatiya Janata Party mocked the Chief Minister and his Deputy Manish Sisodia for their unfortunate display' of empathy at the home of the teenage girl.
