Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that a new helpline has been introduced where parents can register their complaints about nursery school admissions in the capital, and added that the education minister would monitor these complaints on a daily basis.

"If someone faces a problem getting their kids enrolled in a school, the number of the education officer has been written outside every school. And if the education officer is unable to solve your problems, then you can call the helpline number provided by the Delhi government. And the Education Minister will monitor the complaints on a daily basis," he told media here today.

The nursery helpline number 011-27352525 would be supervised by Education Minister Manish Sisodia.

Earlier on January 8, Kejriwal announced another simpler helpline for the residents of Delhi to report incidents of corruption.

"The idea is to create fear among the people who are involved in corrupt practices. There will be hoardings and advertisements regarding the same. Several teams of the police have been put on standby if there is sudden surge in the number of complaints," he said.

After taking oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on December 28, Kejriwal had announced that a helpline number will be provided to the residents to report the cases of corruption.
