Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday vowed to fulfill all the promises made to the people of Delhi as his government slashed power tariff by 50 percent for consumption up to 400 units per month and 20,000 litres of free water per household every month.

Kejriwal tweeted that he has fulfilled the promises made to the people. The Delhi Chief Minister further said in his tweet that all other promises will be fulfilled too and sought the support of the public.

Addressing a press conference earlier in the day, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced that people in the city using under 400 units will be provided electricity at half the price from March 1 and 20,000 liters water each month shall be free per household.

Kejriwal had earlier instructed all government departments to give detailed presentations to him on how they would implement the Aam Aadmi Party's action plan over providing free water and subsidized electricity to the city residents.
