The Congress party on Sunday criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for what they referred to as his 'anti-democratic attitude', claiming that he should be more patient while dealing with criticism.
"I think Kejriwal is losing his ground very fast. He is being exposed on many issues and the government is not functioning as a government. When there is criticism against the government, when the wrong-doings of the government were exposed by the media, the Chief Minister is objection to that. That shows his anti-democratic attitude," Congress leader P.C. Chacko told ANI here.
Chacko added that there is lack of coordination in the Delhi government.
"He (Kejriwal) should understand that he came to lime-light by criticising others. The people in responsible positions should be patient enough to listen to criticism. It also indicates a lack of coordination in the government," he added.
On Saturday, Kejriwal had urged officials with the Delhi Government to lodge complaints against 'defamatory' news items which 'damage the reputation' of the government with the Principal Secretary of the Home Ministry.
