Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manoj Tiwari has asked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal to come clean on the Hawala issue.
"I think that Arvind Kejriwal will have to look into the people's eyes and explain why he went for Hawala. He has a habit of taking up issues that he plans to do in the future, black money and bribery to name a few," Tiwari told ANI on Wednesday.
Kejriwal, meanwhile, threw an open challenge to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley earlier today, saying he should be sent to jail right away if he had done any wrong.
Reiterating that Hawala money doesn't move through cheques, the former Delhi chief minister asked why his party would put the information on their website if it had indeed done something wrong.
The elections for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held in a single phase on February 7. The counting of votes will take place on February 10. The last day of campaigning is February 5.
