Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Tuesday expressed confidence over the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) prospects in the Delhi assembly polls, saying AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will win the upcoming Delhi elections.

"Arvind Kejriwal will win the Delhi elections. The BJP is worried because of the popularity of Arvind Kejriwal, that is why it is making allegations against him," said Yadav.

Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar also hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying the party parachuting in a chief ministerial candidate showed its fear and nervousness.

"BJP parachuting a Chief Ministerial candidate is a sign of fear and nervousness... attacking Kejriwal's 'gotra' shows their desperation. The biggest leader of the party talking about luck and bad luck in his speeches instead of development shows that they have given up," said Nitish.

The BJP goes head-to-head with the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress party in the Delhi assembly polls, scheduled to be held on February 7 with counting of votes to be held on February 10.
