Former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has revealed that the club will not turn their back on Luis Suarez, despite the Uruguay forward's latest ban for biting.
Suarez was banned by FIFA for four months from all football-related activity for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder that saw him out of the World Cup.
According to Sport24, Dalglish, who is widely regarded as Liverpool's greatest player, said that the Suarez, whom he brought to Anfield from Ajax in January 2011, deserved the club's backing.
Dalglish said that he believes that when one brings a player to a football club, the player becomes the person's responsibility, adding that one just does not turn ones back on a player because he has done something wrong.
Dalglish also said that he thinks one will find that Liverpool will not turn their back on Suarez, whatever the ban FIFA have decided that the striker must serve.
