Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has vowed to respond to the attack by al Shabab militants on Garissa University "in the severest way possible".
According to BBC, Kenyatta said that al Shabab militants posed an "existential threat" to Kenya.
He also said that the government would take action against those who planned and financed terrorist attacks.
He also declared three days of mourning for the 148 victims who dies in the attack at the university.
There were 79 people who had been injured and most of the people who died were students.
