Kerala: RSS workers attacked by CPI(M) activists in Kannur

In yet another incident of political violence in Kerala, Rashtriya Swayamseva Sangh (RSS) workers on Monday were allegedly attacked by a group of Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) activists in Payyannur, Kannur district.

The incident happened around 8 pm during a party meeting in which one RSS worker ended up being hospitalised.

A few days back, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker Santosh was stabbed to death allegedly by CPI(M) activists at Andaloor in Dharmadam.

In another incident, a country bomb was hurled at the RSS Karyalaya at Thaliparamba.

The CPI(M), however, has denied that its party workers were behind the attacks.

The BJP has also demanded that Central forces be deployed in north Kerala tp avoid further untoward incidence.
