United States Secretary of State John Kerry has said that extending the deadline to reach an agreement that will mark the closure of the 12-year-long deadlock on Iran's nuclear programme is not being discussed instead the talks will focus on "driving towards" the outline of a deal.

World powers have accused Tehran of building nuclear weapons secretly under the pretense of developing its nuclear capabilities for civilian purposes, a claim that Iran has denied, reported the BBC.

Diplomats in Vienna are bracing for tough negotiations at the dialogue table with a Monday deadline to finalize a deal.
