Comedian and actor David Walliams has reportedly revealed that he was one of the first to know of Simon Cowell's impending fatherhood and claimed that the X-Factor judge would be a great father.
The 41-year old 'Little Britain' star had posted a cheeky tweet when the baby news broke confirming that Cowell was in fact having a baby, the Mirror reported.
Walliams insisted that unlike the 53-year old music mogul's public image, he would be a doting dad as he is great with kids and has a lot of experience with them as he spends a lot of time visiting children's hospices.
Commenting on Cowell's pregnant gal-pal Lauren Silverman, who he claimed to have met her a few times, Walliams revealed that she is 'lovely' and he is thrilled for the soon to be parents.
The New York socialite has recently finalised her divorce from her real estate mogul husband, Andrew Silverman, who had filed for divorce citing 'adultery' as the reason and named Cowell as co-respondent in the legal papers.
The estranged couple is expected to share joint custody of their 7-year old son, Adam.
