North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's aunt has died.
The news of Kim Kyong Hui's death comes less than a month after Kim Jong executed his uncle Jang Song Thaek.
Chosun Ilbo, a major newspaper in South Korea, reported that Kyong Hui, 67, has either 'committed suicide or died from a heart attack'.
The newspaper said that South Korean intelligence sources have yet to confirm her death.
According to the Huffington Post, Kyong Hui has not been seen publicly after September 10 when she attended a musical performance with Kim Jong.
It was presumed that she was safe after her husband's execution when she appeared on a list of top officials named to a funeral committee for a fellow senior Workers' Party official in mid December, the report said.
However, Chosun Ilbo reported that she was absent, possibly due to health issues.
