Artist Daniel Edwards' nude fertility statue of Kim Kardashian, entitled 'L.A. Fertility' statue, was unveiled at LAB ART Gallery in LA on Wednesday.
The Contemporary sculptor, known for his controversial celebrity-inspired works, has made a life-sized figure of the pregnant reality star in a walking pose without arms, the New York Daily News reported.
Visitors at the gallery are encouraged to rub the 32-year-old star's massive belly for luck.
Edwards told Los Angeles Magazine that media's criticism over Kardashian's weight gain during her pregnancy, prompted him to make the sculpture.
He asserted that people tend to look at the parts, like the creases in her armpits, or how she wore a dress that makes her look like a killer whale.
He further explained that he stripped the figurine of the details people get stuck on, so they can see the beauty.
His other artwork include a 2006 life-sized nude of singer Britney Spears giving birth to son Sean Preston and a statue of Angelina Jolie breast-feeding.
