American actress Kim Richards checked herself into rehab as she needed help after being arrested for public drunkenness, it has been revealed.
Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ.com that the 50-year-old actress was in a live-in facility in Malibu which specializes in substance abuse.
The American TV personality made the decision after consulting her family.
The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star was arrested 9 days ago at the Beverly Hills Hotel after allegedly causing a scene while heavily intoxicated.
