A six-year-old kindergarten student, studying in a private school in Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad was allegedly beaten up by his teacher with an iron rod for not doing his homework.
Akshay Kashyap, a family member of the child said, "He is in LKG. His class teacher beat him mercilessly for not making a drawing. He was beaten with an iron rod all over the body and we have filed a complaint against it."
"When we complained to Kavita Yadav, the principal of Krishna Public School, about the matter, she said, you can do whatever you want to, children will be beaten up like this only," he added.
The police have reportedly assured the family that proper investigation will be done.
