Kingdom of Dreams goes cashless with MobiKwik wallet

MobiKwik announced its exclusive partnership with Gurgaon's premier and India's first live entertainment, theatre and leisure destination - Kingdom of Dreams (KoD).

Users can now book tickets for shows and pay at all restaurants at KoD via the cashless convenience of MobiKwik Digital Wallet with just a few taps on their smartphones. KoD is India's answer to the Opera House in Sydney and the Royal National Theatre in London.

With 32 million users and over 100000 merchants, MobiKwik boasts of the highest reach in offline cashless payments in the country.

The tie up with KoD defines MobiKwik's aggressive focus on the leisure and entertainment verticals.

 

"Mobile payments continue to thrive and consumers all over India are already experiencing the convenience of MobiKwik every time they make a transaction either offline or online. We intend to transform the checkout experience at every step for our users, by eliminating waiting time, with a proven technology that is easy to use, 'kwik' and secure," said COO MobiKwik, Mrinal Sinha.

He further added that the collaboration with Kingdom of Dreams is yet another example of our strategic partnerships with industry leaders, which are helping bridge the online and offline worlds of commerce.

Transacting with the MobiKwik wallet is fast and convenient. Users simply need to share their registered MobiKwik mobile number and one-time- password (OTP) with the cashier to verify the transaction, or find 'Kingdom of Dreams' in their MobiKwik app and make push payments.

The ability to add these features with almost no investment or changes required at the merchant's end is a definitive example of the flexibility of MobiKwik's offering. MobiKwik is also the lightest mobile wallet app in the country.

Users will also get 10 percent cash-back on paying with MobiKwik wallet at Kingdom of dreams.
