Minister of State, Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju has said that until he reads the Investigation Bureau (IB) report on Greenpeace foundation in detail, he can't comment on the issue.

He said "If the funding is illegal or if anything is related to national security, which is a threat to the sovereignty of this country, if all these things come into picture then action will be taken against it."

Rijiu said that something of a general note that has not come to his notice or that has not been briefed to him, he cannot comment on that.

The Greenpeace Foundation on Wednesday refuted allegations of negatively impacting the economic growth of the country, leveled by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) in its report submitted to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Bharti Sinha, Communications Director of Greenpeace Foundation, also denied allegations that Greenpeace provided funds to AAP leader Pankaj Singh, and said that it is an "apolitical" organization.
