The chief of the New Zealand Players' Association has reportedly claimed that he knows identity of three other New Zealand internationals to testify against former all-rounder Chris Cairns.

The cricket world is awaiting Cairns' next move as he underwent his second interview with the UK police, who are investigating match-fixing allegations against him despite his repeated denials.

According to Stuff.co.nz, Cairns is understood to have been given full disclosure of statements from current captain Brendon McCullum, former batsman Lou Vincent and at least three other current or former New Zealand players.

Players' Association boss Heath Mills however, said that he hopes the names of the three other players remain under wraps as the investigation is a confidential process, adding that it is very difficult for players to come forward when they cannot trust the process.

Some players had approached the Players' Association for advice before coming forward to the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit, Mills said.
