After Liverpool stormed into the Europa League final following their win against Villarreal, manager Jurgen Klopp has said his side produced an 'unbelievable' performance and described it as a well-deserved victory.
Liverpool reached their first European final since 2007 after completing a 3-1 aggregate win over Villarreal in resounding style at Anfield.
"Wonderful night - a brilliant game from my side. What power, what a performance, what attitude with the readiness, motivation, emotion in the game - everything," Klopp was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Lavishing praise over his players, the German manager insisted that it was hard to find fault in Liverpool's performance and urged his side to replicate similar show in Premier League games.
"The second half plan was to keep going with the emotional football plus using your brain little a bit more and in the end it was brilliant - wonderful goals. The whole night was unbelievable," he added.
Klopp pointed out that Liverpool had managed to reach the summit showdown despite being hit with a slew of injuries and facing several dreadful situations.
Liverpool will next face four-time winner and defending champion Sevilla in Basel on May 18 to clinch the Europa League title.
