Ahead of his side's Champions League semifinal first-leg encounter against Real Madrid, Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has warned his side to be wary of star striker Cristiano Ronaldo if they want to keep alive their title hopes.
The Portuguese international has already netted 16 goals in this season's Champions League and is just one goal short of his personal best.
He had also guided his side to the semi-finals after scoring a hat-trick in Real's 3-0 win over Wolfsburg in the second-leg of the quarter-final clash.
Suggesting ways to outclass Ronaldo, Kompany called on his side to play as a unit if they want to prevent him from scoring, the Mirror reported.
Kompany, however, insisted that City have their own match-winners, who have the ability to play at the top level of the game.
Describing the semi-final match as 'massive', Kompany said that his side had fought a long hard battle to reach this stage, adding that it the time has come to show that they genuinely deserved to win the title.
