KP Sharma Oli takes oath as Nepal's new PM

Nepal's new Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been sworn-in at Sheetal Niwas as President Ram Baran Yadav administered oath of office and secrecy to the Prime Minister.

According to The Himalayan Times, Oli was elected as the 38th Prime Minister of the country.

He secured 338 votes while Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala accumulated 249 votes during the prime ministerial voting held at the Parliament.
