Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Krishan Pal Gurjar on Monday said that whosoever the central leadership picks as the Chief Minister of Haryana will be accepted by all and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the party's spectacular win in the state.
"A meeting has been called and whoever the central leadership picks that person will be Chief Minister and all would accept," he said here.
On a poser about who should become the Chief Minister of Haryana, he added, "Everybody wants that the face of Chief Minister should be that of the party."
Gurjar also said that the real credit of the party's win should go to Prime Minister Modi.
The BJP has decided to send senior party leaders M. Venkaiah Naidu and Dinesh Sharma to Haryana to take forward the process of government formation.
The BJP has got a clear majority in Haryana winning 47 of the 90 assembly seats. The Congress has been relegated to the third position with 15 seats.
