Kumar Vishwas affair: AAP leaders will gradually be exposed, says BJP

BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay said the AAP leaders are not at all dedicated to politics and are least bothered about serving the people

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday lashed out at the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over allegations against Kumar Vishwas of having an affair with a woman volunteer. They also alleged that all leaders of the ruling party in Delhi would gradually be exposed.

BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay said the AAP leaders are not at all dedicated to politics and are least bothered about serving the people.

"They are of no use in politics. They took advantage of the atmosphere that prevailed in the nation and formed the government," said Upadhyay.

"The truth is that gradually the character of all the AAP leaders would be exposed," he added.

 

Upadhyay used the occasion to take a jibe at Delhi's Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar presently in the midst of a controversy for his alleged fake degree.

The BJP leader also highlighted the suicide of a farmer during the AAP's rally against Land Ordinance at the Jantar Mantar here last month to target the ruling party in Delhi.

Vishwas has been accused of a physical relationship with a volunteer in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Vishwas had unsuccessfully contested against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi from Amethi in the general elections.
