Indian security forces resumed their operation to flush out the terrorists holed up in Manigah, in the Haihama forest area in the border district of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir where around two-three militants are still holed up.

The Army has intensified its search-operations across the Line of Control (LoC) after there had been a surge in the attacks on defence posts and residential area.

On Wednesday, three to four heavily armed militants tried to storm an army camp in Tanghdar where the army's elite para commandos killed three militants.

The operation is underway and the search has intensified with the main agenda to track down the militants responsible for the killing of Commanding Officer, 41 RR, Col Santosh Mahadik and another soldier.
